Vantage and Videocall expand strategic relationship
Initiative to deliver global managed video collaboration services

Melbourne, 26. March 2008 - Vantage Systems, leading Australian provider of virtual ‘Meeting Solutions’ and Videocall, the UK's leading independent systems integrator and service provider, today announced that they are looking at opportunities to formally partner to deliver Telepresence, high-definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) video collaboration services on a global scale.

The global video communication market has witnessed solid growth for the last two years due to technology advances in Telepresence and HD video communication and will continue to grow with the increasing adoption of immersive video collaboration.

The proposed partnership will merge Vantage’s Australian expertise in audio, video and web communication with Videocall’s leading market position in Europe to explore and pursue global opportunities in video collaboration.

Through the cooperation Vantage and Videocall will deliver fully managed, high-quality conferencing services over a pervasive, intelligent and end-to-end IP video network, accomplished by Video Operations Network Centres (vNOC) in London and Melbourne.

Both organisations also intend to continue to invest in key technologies and best business practices to drive the evolution of video collaboration services.

Mark Buckley, Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Systems said: "Vantage's association with Videocall will ensure that we continue to deliver unparalleled conferencing services that are customer-centric. Through the collaboration, we are setting the stage for the introduction of world-class services as well as increasing the value these services have to offer."

"Video is a key driver in business communication, changing the way business is conducted. Embarking on such a relationship with an innovative partner like Videocall is another step for Vantage to offer intelligent communication solutions," added Buckley.

Vantage and Videocall have been working together for the last five years, developing a common set of best practises, processes and procedures across their operations in the past twelve months.

Videocall’s Managing Director, Rob Portwood says Videocall’s relationship with Vantage has gained further strength since the unique operational unification.

"Strategically, Videocall views partnerships with industry pioneers like ourselves as an important component of our business in the future. We have been working closely with Vantage for some time now to look at how we can develop video collaboration solutions to benefit our customers. Extending our relationship to deliver end-to-end conferencing services is another big step forward to achieving that."
