Reducing your company's carbon footprint

By awarding the Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 to the IPCC and Al Gore, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has put the spotlight onto the processes and decisions that appear to be necessary to protect the world’s future climate.

Despite the public attention and a common understanding of the basic mechanics of climate change - the world is warming due to human emissions of greenhouse gases - action is lagging.

Green Consumption		Online-billing, virtual answering machines, web-based taxation, e-governance are examples of effective de-materialisation initiatives, reducing 4 million tonnes CO2 / year.
Green Community		Flexible working models, like telecommuting, combine a number of sustainalbe solution and help to reduce around 22 millions tonnes CO2 / year.

By making small changes to business travel behaviours, adopting a more environmental-friendly work style and using more effective communication technologies, everybody can reduce their CO2 emmissions and help to protect the environment.
